No, it was a bit of light, most of which your retina and brain perceive as blue. It was also an interface created by software performing a number of procedures and calculations, the details of which are unknown to both of us. Neither do we know how much information the sofware is storing about any of us right now. That happens everytime we click on something: we do not know.
Who should the technological development serve? What kind of principles ought to be behind the development of our digital infrastructure? Why bother?
